About Society
GSSS Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., was incorporated in the year of 1998 with the sole aim of promoting savings within the Society and to meet the financial requirements of the needy to strengthen their economic status by providing timely assistance.
Based on the good and rich experience of many social and religious service institutions like Gowda Saraswatha Sevaka Samaj and Shri Siddi Vinayaka Seva Samithi in providing assistance to the needy to be financial independent in the vocations and the leadership of Shri P Dayananda Pai and Late C Mohan Kamath.
GSSS Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. was promoted with 905 like minded eminent persons joining hands with an initial capital of Rs.12,88,000/- with devine Blessings of Our Revered Gurudev Shrimad Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji, Mathadhipathi of Shri Kashimath Samasthan, Varanasi. Over the years, the astute managed practices this Credit Co-operative Society has grown into a new age fully computerised entity with two branches in Bengaluru – Shri Ananthanagar & Vijayanagar with its Administrative office at Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.
Today fully trained staff members are servicing the needs of nearly 2500 members handling a deposit base of Rs.42 Crores and Advances of Rs.41 Crores. The Capital from Rs.12.88 Lakhs to Rs.3.64 Crores with the reserves touching Rs.5.89 Crores. The Profits are grown from Rs.16,000/- to Rs.88 Lakhs for the 31st March 2021. The Society has an uninterrupted dividend payment record of last 23 continuous years.
The Society is having very prudent Business norms for the best benefit of members fully aligned with the Co-operative principles satisfying the norms set by Karnataka Co-operative Act 1959 and the institution enjoys Grade ‘A’ as per the departmental norms till 2019-20.
We at GSSS Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. are fully committed to the best ethos of Co-operative principles to promote thrift and strengthen the economic status of its members. We are planning phased expansion, the operation to meet the aspirations of the members by opening more branches in new geographical and serve the members more effectively.

As on 31st March 2020, total business mix of the Society has reached over Rs. 55 Crores. As on 31st March 2022, Society’s Deposits have reached up to Rs. 43 Crores while Advances have reached up to Rs. 42 Crores.
The strength of the Society is reflected in the fact that it’s Paid up Capital and Reserves have amounted to Rs. 9.52 Crores and Investments are to the tune of Rs. 11.55 Crores.

Who can open the membership of the Society?
An Individual who needs the services of the co-operative society and is residing in the operational area of the Society and is competent to enter into contract under the Contract Act, 1872(Central Act IX1872).
What is the type of information I need to submit to the Society at the time of Opening of Membership.
You need to submit the information to establish your identity and your address and copy of your latest photograph. You can choose from the documents acceptable by the Society.
What care should be taken while submitting the Membership Application form to the Society?
- Ensure that the Membership Opening Form (MOF) and the additional information sheets are duly signed and complete in all respects.
- Membership available for resident individual above 18 Years
- Submit PAN Card and Aadhar Card.
- 3(Three) Colored Passport Size recent Photograph of all account holders is necessary.
- Carry all your Original Documents for verification.
- Self attestation is required on all the documents attached to the Membership Opening form (Signature is required on all their respective documents.)
- Alteration on the Membership Opening form requires customer’s authentifications.
- Please remember to complete the information details included in MOF. Ensure that the Membership Opening Form (MOF) and additional information sheets are duly signed and complete in all respects.
- Membership Opening Form (MOF) available on the website or at your nearest Branch.
- Nomination required compulsorily.
- Introduction of a new member by the existing member compulsorily required.
- All the signed and completed Membership Application Forms (MOF) should be submitted to Administrative Office or the Branch office the Society personally along with Original Documents.
